It is almost ALWAYS an easier option to sand/refinish your current floors than to replace your floor completely. If you replace your flooring, you will need to plan for additional costs, such as the removal of the old floors, in addition to the cost of whatever floor you select.
For this process, our team will carefully sand the surface of your wood floors. We can replace the damaged boards with matching wood flooring if there are any deep scratches or areas with discoloration or water damage. Then, we’ll apply a stain of your choice. We feature DuraSeal brand stains.
Finally, we’ll finish the flooring with a matte, satin, semi-gloss, or gloss seal from the highly touted brand Bona. Should you opt for a water-based finish, we use Bona or DuraSeal products with multiple offerings, from light residential to commercial-grade finishes.
When should you do a sanding/refinishing job?
